World Cup 2010 begins on June 11th.  England friendlies are scheduled on May 24th and 30th.  Rooney’s ankles alright and Sven, McLaren and Taylor are gone.

And we have the final, finished, polished, mastered version of SexyFootballBack in our hands.  This is unofficially, the unofficial Unofficial England World Cup song.  The FA has FA idea who we are, and no ex-footballers are on the video.

There’s no Chico on this record.

And we like it.

We’re England fans, football fans.  We’ll never play for the team we love, so this is it.  And we’re donating 15% of the profits to Alive and Kicking, who give footballs and health education to kids in Africa.  You can’t say fairer than that.

The launch date is tentatively set for May 24th, when England take on the really quite good Mexico.  But there will be some previews and events and pre-launch launches and sales before then.
